Here's a walleye technique that's been absolutely crushing suspended wipers: spinner rigs traditionally used for eyes work like magic on these roaming predators. The setup is surprisingly simple but deadly effective
The Rig: Use a 2-hook harness with Colorado blades in sizes 3-5. Some days, these wipers want the subtle flash of unpainted metal; other days, they're all about those bright painted blades – pack both and let the fish tell you their preference. Tip each hook with half a nightcrawler for that irresistible scent trail.
