QUICK TIP: Hit the Inlets — Wipers and White Bass Are Stacking Up
When inlets are running, don’t overthink it — go to the water. Right now, Jackson and Prewitt reservoirs have active inlet flows that are concentrating wipers and white bass in a big way. Moving water pulls baitfish, and baitfish pull predators. It’s that simple.
The go-to presentation most anglers reach for is a white lipless rattling crankbait, and for good reason — it covers water, mimics fleeing shad, and gets bit. Work it across the current seams and you’ll find fish.
