Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!
I hope everyone has safe travels and can get together with friends and family during the next couple of weeks.
This past week’s weather has not improved our ice outlook along the front range. If the ice fishing bug gets to you, head to the hills. Most lakes have 4-6” of ice, as always use caution when on the ice. There are some trout being caught at the lakes and ponds along the front range, I went by St. Vrain today and saw people catching some at Sandpiper from shore. Looked like the anglers using active presentation were catching more than those using bait on the bottom.
As the new year starts I will be doing lake breakdowns looking at the stocking, sampling data, and projections for the fishing outlook in 2024.
Since there isn’t a ton to report this week I’m going to add several funnies.
